Sean Phillips has been bound over to Mason County 51st Circuit Court on one charge of kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of Ludington 5-month-old Katherine Shelbie-Elizabeth Phillips.
A Ludington Police Officer testified Wednesday in Mason County 79th District Court that the clothing of missing baby Katherine Shelbie-Elizabeth Phillips was found in the pants pocket of her alleged abductor, Sean Michael Phillips.
While Ariel Courtland, the baby’s mother, admitted the two spoke about following through with the giving the child up for adoption, she said in the end, it wasn’t what she wanted.
The woman was not injured, and arrested for “zero tolerance” because she had some alcohol in her system, but is not of legal age to drink, Trenner said.
The motive for the late-night Saturday shooting outside Mick’s Banquet Hall isn’t immediately clear, authorities said.
