Jens Pulver seemed on the verge of retirement after his last fight in the WEC, and it was an emotional moment for both Pulver and the fans.

Pulver, one of the mainstays in MMA and an icon in the sport, got it handed to him at War on the Mainland this past weekend in Irvine, California. Despite his hard work training with BJ Penn and his camp, Pulver was nailed to the mat in a submission during the first round of that fight – and it was the fourth straight fight in which ‘Lil Evil’ succumbed to a grappling move.

Marcos Villegas of Fighthubtv spoke with Pulver immediately following War on the Mainland, and it sounds like Pulver plans to keep fighting until he’s damn good and ready to step out for good.
