SHINE Hoping to Rise From the Ashes With Lightweight Tourney
Shine Fights CEO Devin Price now says his promotion is ready to saddle up again.
Price says he’s now targeting September 10 for a pay-per-view from The Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia.
Price says his promotion will hold a single-evening lightweight tournament which would include a hefty grand prize of $50,000.
According to Price, he’s considering a list of lightweights for the tournament which include:
Shine is seeking commission approval for the proposed one night tournament and Price expects that approval to be granted. Sources say the event will be televised on “pay-per-view” or on Internet PPV.
