Rich Attonito vs Rafael Natal Set for UFN 22

Rich Attonito was beyond disappointment when a broken hand forced him out of the competition on TUF 11, but Attonito gets another shot at the big time when he takes on middleweight Rafael Natal during the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night 22 on September 15 in Austin, Texas.

The bout will mark Natal’s debut in the octagon.

Attonito, now 8-3 for his MMA career, made his UFC debut in June with a unanimous decision over TUF 11 alumnus Jamie Yager at The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale.

Natal now 12-2, signed a four-fight deal with the UFC earlier this month. The Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt last saw action in knocking out UFC veteran Travis Lutter at May’s “Moosin: God of Martial Arts.”

UFC Fight Night 22 will be headlined by a clash of middleweight contenders Demian Maia and Alan Belcher and also includes Matt Wiman vs. Mac Danzig, Gleison Tibau vs. Jim Miller, and Ross Pearson vs. Cole Miller.Similar Posts:
